Glossary: surveillance programs.
|Description: This collection of documents, which range from 2003 to 2013, includes NSA presentations and internal communications concerning Special Source Operations (SSO). The presentations provide information about the main commercial telecommunications partners working with the NSA and their collaborations to provide access to bulk communications data, internationally and domestically. The documents also provide technical, geographic, and budgetary information on SSO, as well as details on the various oversight authorities, such as FAA, FISA and Transit Authority. The NYT article accompanying the release of these documents identified FAIRVIEW as the code name for AT&T, and STORMBREW as the code name for Verizon.|
